Better App Store is a Chrome extension that adds tags, notes and filters to the TestFlight pages of App Store Connect, published by Caladesoft. This page explains what data it handles and why.
In short
- The extension is read-only on App Store Connect: it never changes anything in your Apple account.
- With the free version, your tags and notes stay in your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers.
- Only if you use team sharing (Pro), your email and the tags and notes you write are stored on our server so your teammates can see them.
- We never sell your data, show ads or track your browsing.
What the extension reads on App Store Connect
To display and filter your builds, the extension reads your builds, versions and testers from App Store Connect, using your existing session in your browser. This information is displayed to you and is not sent to us, except the build and app identifiers attached to tags when you use team sharing (see below). The extension never reads or stores your Apple password.
Data stored in your browser
Your personal tags and notes, your Better App Store sign-in session and a few display preferences are saved in your browser's extension storage. They stay on your device and are removed when you uninstall the extension.

Legal basis: performance of the service you asked for (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
Who processes the data
- o2switch (France) hosts our server and database, in France.
- Gumroad handles payments for the Pro subscription. We never see your payment details. See Gumroad's privacy policy.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking services.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, export or delete your data, by email at contact@caladesoft.com. Workspace owners can also remove members from the extension's Team tab. You can also file a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
